The primary focus of the undergraduate program is to teach and help the students apply core knowledge, skills and attitudes required of a medical professional. The goal of the program is to equip the student to meet the most stringent standards of medical practice and professionalism, in order to ensure career-long excellence in whole-person care.
Each year, the Douglas Institute welcomes approximately 40 trainees through its internship program. These trainees receive cutting-edge education and intensive supervision and have access to offices and computers.
